I've been on the USMB (superu) for years, but in expanding my Subaru forum exposure, lurking on the DI for s while, I joined the Dirttyimpreza community with my AWD passion, off-road and rally enthusiasm. This community is great, helpful and super fun, the dirty kind of fun!!!
My daily driver is a lifted '95 Legacy "L" sedan, NA, EJ22
Mods [as of Jan, 2012] include:
aftermarket 14" rims
90 legacy rear disk swap
LGT high-top center console cover
OB tape deck (w/ weatherband) replaced stock deck
KYB GR2/Excel-G struts spec'd for '98 outback
27.5x8" General Grabber AT2 all terrain tires
modified Mudrat Baja bumper
cat back 2.25" through a 12" cherry bomb (as resonator) and magnaflow
rear 20% tint (Utah didn't appreciate the 35% front)
99 outback hood (with scoop)
rear seat bottom from 98 OB wagon ('cause it folds up)
rear diff protector
99 OB RSB (upsize 3mm over stock)
99 FOR rear springs
94 SVX front springs
99 LGT steering rack
99 OB 5MT (4.11 FD) *EDIT: swapped 99OB 5MT out for AUDM dual range AWD transmission (see below)
89 RX LS unit stuffed in 99 OB rear diff (aka, 4.11 FD CLSD)
[As of 10/2012] AUDM 98 FOR DR FT AWD EJ 5MT with 1.447:1 LO RANGE and 4.11 FD
[As of 08/2013] Disconnected FSB, quick disconect RSB
This is my daily driver, kid hauler, occasional rally crosser, off-roader, elk-hunting rig, overall everyday and all kinds of fun, FUN car!!!
